ISSUE:Global warming has resulted in serious rise in temperature causing serious issues for Canadian nation.

BACKGROUND

The implications of the Working Group III report highlights that Canada is amongst the world's highest emitter of GHGs as per capita and per dollar of GDP basis. Canada also exports energy having large areas as forested land. The energy intensity of Canadian society is considerably higher by industrialized country standards even though it allows for geographical, climatic, and industrial structure, thus providing a considerable potential for energy efficiency additions.
