Abstract
This paper discusses the key issues that exist in an organization, these issues act as an impediment to HR manager's in developing high performance working. The issues such as conflicts, lack of motivation, advanced technology play a crucial role in the decreasing performance of employees, which in return affect the position of the firm. Not only does the paper highlight the critical factors affecting employees' performances, but also suggests the remedial measures an HR manager can adopt to overcome the hurdles.

Background
The purpose of this paper is to expand the boundaries of our knowledge by exploring some relevant facts and figures related to the topic of “developing high performance working”. There is no organization in the world that immediately ran on the road of success. Every firm faces hurdles, with respect to the workforce, operations or some other factors. The purpose of this paper is to figure out one of the critical issues that impede the progress of a firm. Human resource is essential to operate this organization requiring Human resource management to aid in their effectiveness. Although effectiveness and efficiency are there, they can be increased ten fold by the effective utilization of policies, compensation, training, proper selection, guidance, coaching, good leadership, motivation and the likes. Considering the different factors that are to run an organization effectively, it requires Human resource management and Organizational Behaviour management, both (Abuznaid, 2006, pp. 125-39).
The chosen title of paper is “developing high performance working”.
The areas that we have covered is paper are primarily related to the issue of developing high performance working. In this paper we have examined issues such as motivation, conflicts and competition.
Findings
In this assignment, we have been asked to present a critical analysis of the key issues HR Managers face with reference to the topic of “developing high performance working” and how could HR managers address the issues of developing high performance working.

Human resource is essential to operate the organization requiring Human resource management to aid in their effectiveness. Considering the different factors that are to run an organization effectively, it requires Human resource management and Organizational Behaviour management to work with harmony (Abuznaid, 2006, pp. 125-39). Many forces affect businesses and the business environment and how they operate today. These range from globalization to increased competition, to changing age and competency profile of the current workforce. As an enabler for the knowledge economy, information technology can also be considered a driving force (Eurydice, 2001, pp. 12).
