Discussion
Choosing between breastfeeding and bottle feeding is one of the first and most important decisions parents have to take who are expecting a baby. Although there is no right or wrong decisions, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) joins organizations like the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Dietetic Association (ADA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to recommend breastfeeding as the best choice to feed a baby (The National Childbirth Trust, Bottle-feeding for breastfed babies?, 2010, pp. 2). The most volatile ingredients of breast milk are the fats, and their number corresponds to the needs of the growing child. The fat content in the milk changes during a feeding, it is not the same in a single day, and as the child grows, changes in response is directly affected to the changes energy needs of the child. At the beginning of feeding, milk is poorer in fats, it is like skim milk. As the amount of milk increases, fat in the milk also increases and in the end child gets to the “cream” which is the last portion of milk containing the highest amount of fat. This milk contains a saturation factor that creates the baby feel full and it stops sucking. If we see the child, after the feeding is ended, a baby will radiate contentment which means they are happy with the food they received (Wall G., 2010, pp. 7).

This is not only due to its composition, but also because establishing bonding between mother and baby during the act of breastfeeding which lack in Bottle feeding. The reason for this is the touching, feeling and warmness that baby feeling during breastfeeding. Breast milk contains everything a child needs in the first months of life, through which baby is protected against many illnesses such as colds , pneumonia , diarrhea , ear infections , urinary tract infections and even prevent future pathologies other as asthma, allergies, obesity, etc. However, breast milk is not only good for the baby, but also for the mother.
