Background of the Study

Blood Diamond (or Diamond conflict) is those diamonds obtained in a war zone, through the use of slaves, or people in semi-slavery regime by guerrillas to finance their activities and achieve the overthrow of governments or control territories. Human rights are, or could say they are those things which flow from the natural, human condition itself. When we speak of the word right, we emphasize a power to act, a permit to work in a certain way or to require conduct of another subject (Levy, 2003).
