Abstract
In this study we try to explore the concept of behavioural Concerns within Halton Catholic District School in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on Behavioural Concerns and its relation with Halton Catholic District School. The research also analyzes many aspects of behavioural issues and tries to gauge its effect on Halton Catholic District School. This research also describes various factors which are responsible for behavioural Concerns and tries to describe the overall effect of Halton Catholic District School. Another significant consideration to this research project concerns recent reports that the age of students involved in behavioural incidents is getting younger. It appears that the children being referred for additional assistance and behavioural problems are becoming younger and that their issues are becoming more intractable and difficult to treat. Related to this is the growing national concern for truancy among this younger population. However, the particular lens of this research focuses on the lived experience of those educators working most directly with behavioural incidents primarily in the elementary schools and includes those elementary students who are both identified and not identified. This paper will continue to investigate whether the HCDSB can indeed ensure lasting change.
