Abstract

This paper highlights five programs or service areas that are now available in the public schools in the Bay County District. The programs were not available when I was in school, which is why they are a surprise to me. The schools that have adopted or are adopting the responsibilities of programs like the AICE, IB, MAPPS, Collegiate Studies and the FCAT 2.0 and EOC Assessments are doing the right thing. It is important to have these programs and services available to the students.
