Babel has fostered such approach and it clearly depicts the intensity with which the Muslims are stereotyped. The film attempts to exhibit stereotyping by providing a reality based depiction of Muslims through focusing on the lifestyles of likeable Arab characters. Babel has made use of aesthetics such as the camera angles, framing and sounds that highlights the subjectivity and the identification of the cliché characteristics of the Arab characters (Steele, p.613).
