Other people are of the opinion that athletes make poor role models. It is because some athletes often engage in bad or illegal activities. It has a negative impact on the fans following them, and they may try to do the same. Because, what we see of them is a media creation.

Whereas, some of the athletes are not interested in being socially involved in such activities. They are only concerned with their game only and what they do on the field. These are the athletes who make people think and raise the question that whether athletes should be considered as good role model or not. This paper will be discussing in detail all aspects relating to athletes being a good role model or not.
