Athens and Sparta were both City-states in Greece in ancient times, yet they had no common likenesses. They were constantly at conflict, and at one time at a stalemate. They lived in the identical time and place, but had totally distinct views on life and ways of life. There were dissimilarities in the family life of people and paradigm of Athenians and Spartans.
