Completion of the Lesson Plan

The lesson plan, uploaded, will be based on the presentations. The theoretical part would include the PowerPoint slides consisting in bullet forms also in paragraphs. PowerPoint slides are a useful source for teaching various lectures to the students. This is the reason why these days' teachers rely on PowerPoint presentation for teaching various courses to students. Students even find it easy in understanding the work with the help of PowerPoint slides. However, PowerPoint slides are mainly useful in those courses that contain theoretical data. It is not very useful for those courses that contain numeric data. In that case, teachers need to use board marker to explain the questions to the students. There is even a need for the book because it contains all the questions, figures, charts and graphs that are needed by any student (Beyer, 1987, 60).

For some courses, group work is also organised to make students have a debate with each other. This helps to create a healthy competition among the students and increase their confidence on any topic. However, this activity is only possible for some courses. Resource based learning is encouraged by many teachers and proves practical in certain cases. It includes certain books, helping materials, case studies etc that is used, by teachers to teach students. They are typically used for conducting tests from the students. E-learning includes an online library or useful websites that students can use as references for their subjects. It is evident that there are several ways through teachers can prepare a lesson plan for these students. However, all these sources are applicable to specific situations. Therefore, these are the ways through which lesson plans can be prepared by the teachers (Lou, 2006, 444).

How the session can meet the needs of individual learners?

The session can meet the needs of individual learners in different ways. It all depends on the subjects that learners have taken in the university. For instance, if the learners have taken marketing subjects, then they are going to depend on the PowerPoint slides. The reasons are that students will have an opportunity to learn maximum information about the subject. PowerPoint slides will have a theoretical data related to Marketing concepts and lectures. Students even find PowerPoint slides quite useful for Management subjects. Same case is going to be there for Human Resource subjects. The lectures of these subjects are included in PowerPoint slides and then communicated to the students. Human Resource Management course contains a lot of theoretical data that can only be taught with the help of PowerPoint slides (Anania, 1983, 385).

However for students studying Finance, Statistics, Mathematics and some part of Economics, PowerPoint slides are not going to be useful for students, as well. In this case, books will matter a lot.
