Every child has the right to good and safe childhood. All children have the right to grow and learn, and to play and participate. Every child has the right to protection and care. All rights of the child are gathered in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Convention is a generally accepted idea of what rights should be available to all children, regardless of their origin, that is, for example, race, religion or income families. The Convention applies to all children and adolescents up to 18 years.
