The term inspiration is brought from the verb inspire in Latin that contains the meaning of “to breathe on”. The rationale study of the religion identifies the tasks of Holy Spirit that inspires the reader to presume the sayings of God. Though, the term Inspiration is not a biblical term but it is usually translate in Greek, which means Godbreathed . I believe that inspiration is an extrasensory influence which qualifies a person to communicate and gain Holy truth in his way of opinion. There are many definitions of inspiration are provided, but I believe the definition by Charles Hodge gave the most perfect outlook. Charles states that inspiration is the influence of divine spirit on the minds of particular men's selection, which depicts God's will for the reliable communication of his mind. It is clear from the definition that divine spirit is the one who inspire; and the aim of the men is to reveal his perceiving and thinking. I suppose that Inspiration can be defined in two diverse senses. In the wider way, inspiration can be employed to any practice of the Divine Spirit within the religious perception of men. If we restrict the sense here, it can only apply to the authors and their biblical writings. Though, most of them take the writings of the authors as inspiration, but the truth is based on the inspiration of religious scripture. It is said by Jesus, “A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit” (Matt. 7:18). I believe that humans cannot create heavenly things without inspiration of heaven. The teaching of the scripture says that the both biblical writings and authors are inspired; now it depends on us, how we deeply scrutinize the truths inside it.
