Zebras are exclusively mammalian herbivores that eat mainly in the morning and afternoon, replacing at noon. They are animals that eat grass rough leaves and shoots . also eat bark and ramitas (Pluhacek, Bartos, Bartosova & Kotrba, 2010). The digestive system allows them well adapted to survive on a diet of lower nutritional quality than they need other herbivores, but also less efficient , forcing the zebras to spend more than half the time eating.
