This research aims to provide a detailed explanation about the problem of Obesity and its relevance to the lower income people, this report will also provide certain solution that are necessary for the education of this disease and governmental concern over this issue will also be discussed, in this research the research has used all the relevant material that are authenticate in their field of health and sciences (American, 2012).
Does Being Poor Make You Fat? Or is the Problem Processed Foods?
Introduction
Obesity is the disease that is destroying the life of the people as well as the economic condition of the country, several researches and ideas have been generated over the year to control this problem but so far no result has been obtained and the condition of the US is becoming worse in this scenario. According to the recent study conduct by the center of control for disease control and prevention (CDC) obesity is found on average 17 percent of the adult population and which raise the health and economic concerns as well (Blumenthal, S, 2012) (American, 2012).
From the past researches done on this problem identifies that the level of Obesity is found higher in lower income people as compare to higher income people, the identification was misinterpreted by several scholars and observer who has assumed that obesity has only found ion lower income people. It is true that of the overall proportion this disease is mostly found in poor people but there are several reasons for it such as in America people with lower income faced the barriers of eating unhealthy food, lack of education, poor surroundings, less physical and nutritious activities (Blumenthal, S, 2012)
Due to lack of economic resources lower income people does not have the concept of buying food from any superstore either they purchased food from local retailers and small store where low quality foods are available and further these people become the targeting of those company whose main idea is to do business not to attract customers (Blumenthal, S, 2012)

It is the well known fact that material that is being used in the creation of several foods contains high level of fructose which primary function is to metabolize the food that we ate in quick time, this problem was well identified by (Clin, J. 1999) as he argued that the quality of food that is being introduced currently in the USA market like, Snakes, Cakes, Biscuit and etc has become the main reason of increasing the obesity, as the fructose level present in these product is 21 percent which is much higher than fructose present in the fruits (Goran, M, 2012) (Beam, 2010).
