Human Response to Physical Structure

Introduction

Physical structure can be of many things and human response to these structures accordingly. The human nature build in such a way that respond to different things differently, according to their likes and dislikes. It is important to know what is the physical structure, and human response separately first so that they can be linked for better understanding. If we look at the exact meaning of physical structure, it means the structure of an organism, be it an animal, plant, or even human being (Greenberg, 2010). Physical structure does not only mean the structure of the organism, but it also means the infra-structure of different buildings. The way these buildings got designed, they create an environment, and human behave according to the environment.

Representation of the duality of structure, according to Giddens (British sociologist), allows resolving the dispute between the determinists who believe that human behavior is entirely dependent on external forces, and voluntarism who believe that people, having a free will act only in accordance with their wishes. Neither the first nor the second, in principle, wrong, but in every position, there are elements of truth. Today it got accepted that advanced technology, information systems and total quality are a given, the indispensable conditions for determining the “playing field” organizations in the global economy. Now, especially in the 21st century, the only significant competitive advantage for any organization is its human resources. Thus, the scientific foundations of organizational behavior and their application ...
