Anti -Asian violence

Anti-Asian violence is an important issue, but immigrant communities do not understand hate crimes against Asians. Unless those groups who are leading the fight spend at least as much energy interacting with people in the various specific Asian communities as they do talking to white establishment politicians and funding sources, they cannot be viewed as truly representing the interests of diverse Asian Pacific American communities.
