In history there have been many people who have imposed a long lasting impression. Out of these people there are few legends who through their work and sacrifices made a mark in history. Among such personalities there are very few women who still remembered today and are discussed widely. One such personality is of Anne Boleyn. The objective of this paper is to talk about this historic lady and her life from variegated perspective. This paper would provide us insight into the life of a lady who lived in past and created a history.
Anne's Early Years
Daughter of Thomas Boleyn and Elizabeth Howard, Anne is the continuation of this family. She was an English noblewoman and became Queen of England after marrying Henry VIII. The marriage lasted barely for three years, ended with the tragic death of Anne because of the dynastic interests of her husband. Her marriage to Henry was unable to meet the urgent need to give the king a male heir to perpetuate the dynasty on the throne. Anne Boleyn was born in 1507, most likely in Rochford Hall, Essex. Much of her childhood was spent in France, in the refined court of King Francis I, where she received a very good education. When she was 6 years old she began her education in France. She began to learn French. The seven years that she spent in the royal courts of Burgundy, Amboise, Paris and Flanders nurtured her as a classic woman as she developed the sense of fashion and got exposure to the Renaissance classicism (George, 2008).
Appearance of Anne Boleyn
Anne Boleyn was not conventionally beautiful according to the conventional beauty of that time. She was thin and her skin was considered by some to be too dark. However, many observers were impressed by her dark eyes and long dark hair. People seemed primarily attracted by the charisma of Anne. She used to impose a good impression with her fashion sense. She inspired many young ladies for developing many new trends (George, 2008).
Why I Chose Anne Boleyn
We get inspired and like people because of few reasons. Similarly, I also preferred to talk about Anne Boleyn because this lady inspires me in more than one ways. One of the main and important reasons for this inspiration is that even at that time she supported the feminism through her acts and bravery. Women, in this era still fight and run the movements to get their basic rights and she at that time represented the status of women through her cats rather than by running any sort of movement or campaign. She is a true epitome of a brave woman.
Motherhood as the Representation of the Bravery and History
Queen Anne also had a very difficult time fulfilling her duty to produce an heir to the throne. Queen Anne underwent 18 pregnancies; all but one child, Prince William of Denmark and Norway, Duke of Gloucester, died in infancy. Prince William suffered from poor health all through his infancy ...
