ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to understand the problems of sexuality in older people. The importance of this study is regarding the sexual behaviour of the older people. As men age they become more in control of sex. No longer is there a focus on sex as a means to an end, but rather many older men are able to gain greater control over ejaculation and their erections may actually last longer. The methodology that is used in this study is secondary methodology. The secondary methodology is less costly and there is an easy access for secondary resources. Various data bases have been used for this research, some of them are Cinahl, PsycoInfo and Medline. The article that was used in this study is the one that were published in English. The aim of the study is to critically explore sexuality for older people. Overall there were 80 studies, among which 20 studies were selected and used.
