The enactment of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Education for All Handicapped Children Act of 1975 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 have all assisted to the expanding enrolment of wheelchair users into schools and universities over the United States.
