Synopsis of the Video

This video is an Intervention Episode based on a story of a woman named Sylvia who lives in North Carolina. She is 49 years old and she runs a successful career in interior designing and makes more than US $ 200,000 per year. She has always been a very lively and bright girl since she was in school. After her graduation she went to become an actress, and did several dramas and play where she was immensely appraised. She found the love of her life and got happily married. She became mother of four wonderful children and a successful interior designer. Her life was going perfect until her regular arguments with his husband led them to divorce. However, she continued her life with her children and then she fell in love with another man and got married. After sometime it turned out that he was a hot tempered man and badly beats Sylvia whenever he loses his temper. He was not at all like what he appeared before marriage. This led her in to depression and soon she started drinking. Eventually she got divorced again and her first husband took the custody of the children due to her drinking addiction. Living alone in a house pushed her in to misery and she started drinking more than ever. Gradually she lost her concentration on her interior designing business, due to which she did not get any more contracts. She managed to get a sales job in an apparel store. Each night she used to cry out of loneliness and miss her children. She always created a scene wherever she went, due to her drinking problem. Her loved ones; her mother, friends, sister and brother were all suffering from the pain because they could not bear to see her in misery. Sylvia cared about her loved ones and did not want to embarrass them. She tried several times to quit drinking but she could not.

Once her sister, mother and her friend made up a plan to keep her away from drinking, so her sister called to invite to a baseball game where Sylvia nephew is going to play. Sylvia realizes that she it is a big event for his nephew, and she has already caused so much pain to her family, so she has to control and drink less than she normally does. She wants to be on her best behavior and does not want create a scene in front of her sister, her mother and a lot of friends of her sister. This was a big challenge for her because when has nothing to drink, she gets sick to nausea, her heart starts beating rapidly, her hands becomes shaky. In her mind she does not want to think anything else but to control her drinking. She has always been a performer, so everyone expects a lot from her.
