ABSTRACT

In this study we try to explore the concept of aging population in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on the increasingly aging population and its relation with the existing consequences in United Kingdom. The research also analyzes economic, financial and societal impact of the aging population and tries to gauge its effect on the related factors on the aging. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for the aging population and tries to describe the overall effect of the population in United Kingdom.

Outline of the Study

This proposal and the thesis, which would be based on the objectives and rationale of this proposal, will examine the subject of ageing population and its impacts on the social and healthcare domains of the United Kingdom (UK). In order to provide a structure to the study, the exploration will be guided through the use of research methodologies, the collection of data through a carefully selected sample and the interpretation of the results. The research will examine the effects of the drastically ageing population in UK and the challenges posed by it to the society and it's National Health Service (NHS). Various statistics will be taken into consideration by conducting thorough research and an in-depth study of the questions presented in the problem statement.

The report will further analyze the features and trends of the ageing population, its benefits, and the economic burden to society. Besides this, the concept of diversity and heterogeneity in the UK's organizations and the idea of migration will also be taken into account.

Background of the Research

The research study undertaken for the purpose of the final thesis will study the problem at hand in a logical and elaborate manner. By conducting a thorough research, all the obvious aspects of the ageing population will be taken into consideration and will be observed critically and analytically in order to facilitate the reader with valid and extensive first hand information. Thus, a proper research beneficial to the study will be carried out and illustrated in a legible manner.
