Introduction 

T.S. Eliot (1888-1965) is an American-British poet and literary critic. He born in the year 1888 in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned a B.A. and M.A. degree in English Literature. He is the author of many acclaimed books, including Prufrock and Other Observations (1917). Eliot won a number of awards and honors during his lifetime, including the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1948.
