This paper seeks to analyze the psychological make-up of Adolfo Jesus. Speaking of serial murderers is to touch a very sensitive issue because in most cases, people tend to be fascinated by the subject, due to morbidity is reached by creating media and tabloid news that exploit the issue, making the public want to know every detail of events and information preferably accompanied with many photographs that best describe the event. Although certain audience is excited by these kinds of sensational crimes that occur, there is another type of people who actually believe that serial murderers are strictly a contemporary phenomenon and a symptom of a terrible moral drift that occurs in modern society. The serial murderers have always existed, only that in ancient times not used to be called as aforesaid, old newspapers or publications described this in terms supernatural "bloodthirsty monsters", "demons in human form" and "murder of great evil. " The presence of serial murderers is not only applicable to a single region or a country, is a global event that occurs in the U.S., Britain, France, Russia, Colombia, Mexico and many more countries (Roitman, 2011).
