Continued my studies at the American University of Paris and studied corp. communications
During my studies at AUP I gained my first work experience, working as a self-taught webmaster of the communications website (creation and maintenance) followed by an internship in the fashion industry for cbccanada'stv show “fashion file”
After graduating in 2001 I focused on finding a job which would give me international exposure and started working for the international chamber of commerce in Paris as their marketing coordinator

Looking back after seven years, I could not feel more assured that at that time, I made the right choice. Working for (Big Consulting Company), (so far) exclusively on international assignments in high tech industries, is the kind of job I had envisioned at that time. I could not have come here without that choice I made back then.

I am currently working in the Oil & Gas sector for Baker Hughes, one of the Top 3 Oilfield Service Companies. The company is listed in the Fortune 500, has more than 50,000 employees in 90 countries and delivers solutions that help oil and gas operators make the most of their reservoirs.
My job as the Middle East Region Communication & Events Manager entails the creation of region-specific marketing plans as part of the global marketing communications plan and adhering to the region-specific marketing communications budget. (Cripe,2002)The handling and execution of all corporate events within the region, producing regional specific marketing material, ensuring consistent marketing content across the region and geomarket and contributing to the overall marketing strategy of the company also falls under my scope of work.
Furthermore, I am responsible for handling media relations through a third party PR company for special events such as the recent official Opening Ceremony of our Manufacturing Plant in Saudi Arabia, attended by our CEO, Mr. Chad Deaton, as well as Senior Vice Presidents from Saudi Aram co.
