What's the history about acupuncture?

Acupuncture is the unique medical approach which is initiated by ancient working people; this approach has a long history. It is observed that, since 1000 of years, metal needles are used by people in order to make treatment of body parts. These metal needles are used for different diseases treatment, pain relief, and thus it became a unique method of treatment of the human body. This Chinese treatment has gained so much reputation in the world.

How wide-spread is it?

Now days, acupuncture is considered as the most integral part of medicine by the needle and moxibustion. In the early age of Neolithic Age, people with stone, used acupuncture treatment as the body treatment.

Who are the believers (background, location, how is they like?)?

The main originators of acupuncture treatment are Chinese people, and they spread this treatment in Japan, Korea, and India, Arabia and other countries and regions and gained success in these countries. Until now, acupuncture has become popular in almost more than one hundred and forty countries and regions, and it played a significant role in protecting life and health of mankind.

How organized are they?

Acupuncture is the ancient Chinese specific natural and social environment growing up in the scientific and cultural knowledge, contains the unique spirit of the Chinese nation, thought and culture has a large number of Han-Na practice observation, knowledge and technical skills, cohesion of the Chinese nation vitality, and creativity, is the wisdom of the Chinese nation, but also a treasure of civilization of mankind, should be better protection and utilization.

Who are the significant personalities involved with it?

Carmen, an acupuncture instructor, said that in fact, she believed the online format forces people “to learn the material better, forces a more active learning process, if it is done skillfully.” The majority of massage therapy instructors indicated a distinct preference for communicating in person. This question was about the ambiance of communication preferences, and the survey question did not specify a classroom context for the question, leaving the potential of understanding of this preference to a wider experience of communication. The chiropractic instructors also indicated a preference for in person communication, but not with the unanimity of the massage therapy instructors.

What are the claims made about acupuncture (what is it supposed to do)?

The determination to use acupuncture, chiropractic and massage therapy was made because all three disciplines have a significant hands-on component to their particular curriculum. Direct touch of the patient/client is involved in each discipline by design, and the practice cannot be done without demonstrated competencies in the touch aspect of the work. These are disciplines that I am particularly interested in and familiar with as a result of my work with the Academic Consortium for Complementary and Alternative Health Care.

What is supposed to be happening? Dose acupuncture goes beyond place effect.
