What is CRCT

The Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT) is quite simply an objective assessment of a test taker's requisite foundation of knowledge and skills. CRCT scores are used by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) as a uniform standard of qualification. Looping

Looping is an educational practice in which a single graded class of children stays with a teacher for two or more years or grade levels. The children and the teacher remain together as the class is promoted. The use of the CRCT should provide this study with the data to indicate whether the students in the looping situation will have a significant increase or decrease in student achievement or whether there will be no difference in the test results of the students involved.
