Intellectual property is an economic right of exclusivity granted by the state for a certain time to use or exploit industrially marketable inventions or innovations, such as a new technical product, an upgrade to a machine or device, an original design to make more useful or attractive a product or a new manufacturing process, it also has to do with the creative capacity of the mind: inventions, literary and artistic works, symbols, names, images and privileges.
