Nancy is the C.E.O and founder of the organization. It is the well known Breast cancer programs in USA. The organization is engaged in the excessive research, education, and social support program in America for breast cancer patients. The program has a partnership with 50 countries for the same purpose of breast cancer. There are approximately 100,000 volunteers for this community based program, which are working in 124 affiliations worldwide in providing awareness and education of breast cancer. People have trust in Susan G. Komen, and it is one of the most trusted non-profit organizations in USA. There are millions of donations collected by the organization every year. The main objective of the organization is to get over with the breast cancer from all the females. The organization offers open appointments for the volunteer who want to work for the organization. Their actual purpose is to educate patients with breast cancer, and aware women to prevent from the cancer. They provide caution programs to keep females away from this cancer. They promote early detection of cancer through screening, so it could be easily cured. They are affiliated with the Harvard School of Public Health that assists fighting against the disease (Fitzgibbon, Loeser, 2010).

The organization focuses on every part of United States. The urban women have car, know English, have knowledge, but the rural women have no such facilities is dependent on people. This cultural diversity makes them away from the cure. The organization travels to the rural areas and aware people about the breast cancer. The idea of organization changes the thinking of rural women.

The women suffering from breast cancer face difficulties in society and feel cut off from the community. They cannot engage in activities.
