As defines by The Centre of Academic Integrity (CAI); “Academic Integrity is a commitment, even in the face of adversity, to five fundamental values: honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility; from these values, flow principles of behavior that enable academic communities to translate ideals into action” (CAI, 1999).

Higher education becomes beneficial for the society only when universities and colleges have such principles of integrity which lays the foundation of a bright academic life, promote the progress in the scientific field, and make the students prepare for a thorough citizenship.
