On the other hand, those in favour of abortion, “Pro-choice”, feel it is the right of the individual to make the decision for themselves. No topic brings out so much passion and abhorrence of the other side. Any court conclusions associated to abortion frequently convey protestors from both sides.

Those who believe abortion should be usually illicit typically use periods such as "unborn baby." The word "baby" can apply before birth, but this usage is medically inaccurate and tends to remind a warm sentiment. Hence, it will not be used. Those who believe abortion should be usually lawful typically use the word "fetus." This is a medical period, and depending upon the number of weeks since beginning, it may be accurate. However, the word sounds clinical and inanimate, and those who use it in the political arena have a double standard when it comes to using medical terms. Rarely do activists or the mainstream media use medical terms when referring to a pregnant woman or a newborn child (Reich, 1995).

As a woman unwillingly moves toward all the abortion information, she is likely to come across the pros and cons of abortion. She will read on the subject of the right to have an abortion in opposition to the wrong in having an abortion.

Though, no matter what her political point of view, it always comes down to a very close, personal decision that no woman builds without some level of emotional trauma. All of the options abortion, or raising the baby, or permitting another family to adopt the baby bears pain, sacrifice, and an emotion of being trapped in an unwilling decision.
