Introduction
The purpose of this paper is to give an overview about whether abortion is moral or immoral. Different people have different views regarding the abortion. Some people say that it is moral; on the other hand many people just go against it by saying that abortion is immoral. A report named Scientific Developments Relating to the Abortion Act 1967, that got issued by the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee in a session conducted in 2006 and 2007. There were many conclusions that got derived from the report. However, it got suggested that foetuses have physiological reactions to noxious stimuli. Although pain is not indicated especially below the current upper gestational limit of abortion, there are still some factors that are relevant to clinical practice. However, they are not relevant in terms of question of abortion law. The paper highlights the arguments that got made against legalization of abortion in the first twenty-four weeks of pregnancy. Furthermore, reforms for law have also been suggested that can be considered to make certain that an appropriate balance gets maintained between law and personal autonomy, as well as the protection of the sanctity of life .
Discussion
The termination of pregnancy is known as abortion. This can be done at any stage, and the purpose is to end the birth of a baby. Abortion gets done by the removal of the fetus from the uterus. When abortion was introduced to the modern world, it got introduced with accordance to the local law. When deliberating on sensitive social topics such as abortion, most of the people cling onto an idea and employ it to contradict every argument presented against point of view. For example, a person in support of abortion might be reluctant to inquire about the right of a woman to her own body. On the contrary, a person against abortion might be averse to move past the assertion that abortion is a murder in simplest terms.
Abortion may or may not be a murder, but the debate on such topics brings deadlocks more than the solutions to reduce the impact of the real issue. The cause of the real perplexity on the issue of abortion is the human predisposition to accept or reject fundamental moral standards without sufficient examination. Each year approximately 40 million abortions performed worldwide. About half of these abortions are illegal and unsafe place. 70,000 million women and girls are dying unnecessarily and have millions in bad to very serious complications in hospitals are included.
