The aboriginal education and training policies are the policies which is new, and NSW department of education and training's commitments for the aboriginal education and training in schools comprising where significant preschools, community education and TAFE institutes settings. With the help of key partners it was developed, such as aboriginal communities, to make the policies available for the advice of the department's employee.

For the implementation of the policies the strategies made on mainly three key elements. These three elements are engagement, relationships, ongoing learning. These elements will be used to fulfill the requirements for the staff and aboriginal communities and people. For the implementation of the policies there are some policies which needs to be priorities for the department staff aboriginal training and education would be considered the core business, in the aboriginal culture the increasing cultural competencies should focus for all the staff, and the department's progress should accelerate and maintain the goals for 2012, the outcomes of the aboriginal students should be increase or come with the betterment of the student population at the broader perspective.

All the priorities which have been designed to meet the policies and with the help of these polices the goal of the Aboriginal Education and Training Policy can be achieved and these priorities of the policies guides the all department and other staff to work upon the strategies.

The major strategies and plans includes: NSW Department of Aboriginal Affairs Plane 2003 to 2013 that is two way together, state plan as new direction for NSW, and the corporate plan for 2009 to 2011 and its training strategy and HRM plans for the development, NSW aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc Secure the partner for future collaboration, council of Ministerial employment, education and training and youth affairs 2005 to 2008 (NSW Department of Education and Training, 2008).

Training Strategy of the Aboriginal Education

Purpose:

The Training Strategy and NSW Aboriginal Education for 2008 determine the Education Department, collaborated partners and training would focus on its efforts regarding:

For the aboriginal students the outcomes of the improve learning.

For covering all the areas of system the shift of cultural to construct perspectives and those activities involves which are relevant to Aboriginal Education and training.

For the improvement of the work place participation the change in the practices for the Aboriginal people.

Goal:

The Strategy which has been planned to center of attention that is work of regions, colleges, schools, TAFE institutions and state offices directorate toward the achieving of the goal: The outcomes of the aboriginal student should match or the improve outcomes from the broader student population by the year of 2012.

Strategic Principles:

There are some of the main principles which would guide the activities contained by the strategy. These are mentioned below.
