ABSTRACT

In this research, we will analyze the concept of life expectancy of people in the US in a holistic context. The main focus of the research will be on the forecast that is carried out about the life expectancy of people in the United States, as well as look into the factors which are associated with increasing or decreasing the life expectancy of the people. Throughout the world, the life expectancy of people is calculated, used and assessed to study demographic transition. This is very important to analyze the demographic statistics in any given country because the importance of demographic characteristics not only has an impact on the population structure but also on many other significant factors associated with the country. This is because Population policies are designed in accordance with the demographical data which has to be frequently acquired to study the life expectancy of the people. This is a purposeful activity of state bodies and other social institutions in the regulatory processes of human reproduction. It is designed to influence the formation of a desirable society for the regime of population reproduction, maintaining or changing trends in population dynamics and structure of the population, their rate of change of fertility, mortality, family structure, settlement, and internal and external migration, as well as to assess the quality characteristics of the population. The concept of demographic policy of the America is the system of definitions of key goals, objectives and priorities of the impact on demographic development. In this regard, forecasting the life expectancy of American people is extremely important so that long term planning can be carried out into the said area. It is the legal and ideological space in which policy documents can be created on fertility and family support, health and life expectancy, migration and other aspects of demographic development.  Although the life expectancy of Americans at present is satisfactorily long, but it has been forecasted that the life expectancies of American people is expected to decline in the coming years owing to various factors. This research will throw light on all those factors in order to reach an accurate analysis and succinct conclusion.
