A Ministry Plan for Leading North Church to Become a Multiplication Center
Introduction
The operation plan for the North Church on Bishop Schnase's Model-based ministries. The original group was formed for this project, including the chairman of the SPRC, the Lay Leader, Chairman of the Council and the Church Pastor Jim Verkest. As a large and active prayer ministry team is already in it is not necessary for one to start asking the ministry of planning process to keep praying. In March, ten church leaders who are representative of all age groups, gender, social strata and from the church for the purpose of an ongoing leadership team charged with the responsibility for approving a plan for the ministry recommendation to the whole church community, and will continue to devoted to the development of the vision of the North UMC for the future. The Ministry has developed its plan with input and input from Pastor Jim Verkest.
There are five key behaviors that Bishop Schnase has noted that the heart of this work plan. These five practices are:
1) Radical Hospitality;
2). Passionate worship,
3) Intentional Faith Development,
4) Risk Taking Mission and Service:
5) Extravagant generosity.
The five most important essential aspects of a church service, if the church is a growing church are important. While some vitality will be present, even though all five are not well developed, effectively all the five essential practices have become the priorities of the church. In addition to these five practices of the church must accept and functional structures for the implementation of these five practices. Although no specific functional structures sixth area of focus, which will be an integral part of the process for each of the five most common procedures in this plan, the Ministry should be addressed. Ministry Plan 2009 Radical Hospitality: All churches are welcome hopefully the members within the community and visitors to the community concerned. What this form of hospitality, apart from the usual distinction is the adjective "radical"! It is not enough just to hospitality, visitors to attract and keep members. The church must be the reason for people to feel welcome, accepted, loved and needed. If these four key ingredients to come together, people experience the radical hospitality.
North UMC today: The North UMC is a church known for its hospitality. It has even been described as a church of radical hospitality. Part of the North UMC's Vision is three specific statements from the definition of the church in this regard. The vision statement says that the Church is one) Church of the unknown in our area, 2) It is a church that radical hospitality shown to all people, 3) It is a church that is known.
