XRD

X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) or X-Ray crystallography is technique that is used for the determination of the molecular as well as atomic structure of a particular crystal. As a matter of fact, the rays of the X-ray diffract from such a crystalline structure into many of the directions. The information that is retrieved from such a technique is the mean position of the atoms which are present in the crystal along with their bonds and any sort of disorder in them (Thibault et. al., 2008).
