Introduction

Environmental and Social Responsibility

Social responsibility in the 21st century has heightened the attention of the ethical managers. Knowing the responsibility and confronting the ethical issues as a manager while also, in making the proper decisions, being confident enough is what an ethical manger go through their daily lives. Now, consumers more than ever are demanding the corporations to take complete responsibility for the organization's impact on the surrounding environment and their community. This presents confront for the ethical managers on the daily basis, and the ethical perspectives which are best suited in order to resolve such ethical issues is the common morality theory. According to Arnold, Bowie, ad Beauchamp, by the virtue of commercial life, all people share a common morality, and for all theories of morality this morality is ultimately the source. According to the reading in the book, the common morality is known as the set of norms which are shared by the individuals who are actually free of any prejudice or any sort of bias which is based on facts of morality (Beauchamp et al, 2009, Pp. 35).

Fraud

Another ethical issue that the managers have to confront and which can be of a very severe violation of ethics within the company is Fraud. Deceitful activities that establish within the organization are ethically required by the ethical managers to report to the respective appropriate authorities. In some cases this is also known as whistle blowing and most of the managers working in the company do not want to be a whistle blower, but in order to promote and maintain fair and honest work place, it needs to be reported to the appropriate authorities.
