In order for a relationship to experience the essence of understanding and to grow, there is an immense need of a sound level of trust.

Trust plays an important role in our relationship with others. It is so necessary to have trust in any relationship whether friends, family etc as its absence fills a person's mind with worries and doubts. Trust is essential in every relationship, but we cannot completely depend upon trust. In any relationship, lack of trust gives rise to so many tools for example jealousy, insecurity, possessiveness and doubt which ruins the bond of a healthy relationship (Asher, & 3M Company, 2011).

The idiom “Blood is thicker than water” conveys the idea that family relationships are more durable and stronger than the relationship of friendship.
