Introduction

The importance of HRM can be understood by the fact that the particular department of Human resource management deals with the planning, organization, development and coordination, as well as technical control, capable of promoting the efficient performance of personnel, while the organization is the means that allows people to collaborate on achieving individual goals related directly or indirectly to the work. At present the staff selection techniques have to be more subjective and more refined, determining the requirements of human resources, increasing the effective sources and allowing the right candidates, evaluating the physical and mental potential applicants, and their ability to work, using a variety of techniques, such as the interview, psychometric tests and medical examinations (Susan &Randall, 1995). This paper will focus on the importance of human resource in an organization.

Discussion

Expansion in the last decade, the use of new technologies in the hospitality industry has led to job losses, which in turn has caused the use of alternative methods of work organization and to increase creative and innovative approaches in management. Currently, overseas scholars of management are increasingly focused on attempts to link the planning problems of finance and business with the problems of personnel management. The latter includes: selection of employees, training and retraining, the relationship between them and, finally, their reward. Each of the departments in an organization, have something to contribute to the organization (Society for Human Resource Management, 2008). Following are some of the important features of Human Resource in an organizational setting:

It influences the behavior of the staff to achieve operational and financial results.

It influences on the care and feeding of staff.

It affects the employee's defense.

It influences the management of business processes by HR.

Each of the above mentioned contributions are dependent on the organization's goal and vision or mission that is in it. The importance of human resource management is of growing concern now; there is not a single organization which is in operations without the existence of this department. Human resource management identifies the need for the organization to get align with the changing environments and global markets. Today, human capital, social responsibility policies, organizations have to make compromises for the management sensitive to the needs of their workers. The motivation for the organization is to give workers greater benefits which will then put their efforts and hard work for the development of the organization.

Therefore, in the development of one of them offers improved worker performance, where it is important to take into account the needs of employees and satisfy them (Society for Human Resource Management, 2008). It is considered that the key factor of the organization are the people because they reside knowledge and creativity within them, so that they give their maximum and are required to be satisfied, organizations should see from the win-win approach where both have rights but at the same time obligations.
