Iconic Images

The iconic language is a system of representation both linguistic and visual. Iconic language spoken in dealing with the representation of reality through images. By "reality" means the "visual reality", considered in its most readily apparent: the colors, the shapes, the textures, etc.. When speaking of images, which varies from other models of representation (acoustic, sensorial, language, etc.) Is not the relationship that can save the image to its referent, but the unique way that has the image to replace, interpret, and translate that reality. Analysis of an Iconic Image

The icon selected for this analysis is the statue of Christ in Brazil.
