Introduction

Each and every country in the world in current times has a common goal of contributing towards global peace and eliminating the menace of war, conflict and terrorism. However, the aim cannot be achieved until each and every country promotes ways and means of dialogue and reconciliation. Therefore, in today's world diplomatic relations between even only two states can have a huge impact on the world peace. Hence, every nation in current times grants great importance to its diplomatic relations with other country. Moreover, foreign policies in every state are also planned with great consideration. In addition, all the strong and developed countries can play a major role towards globally stable environment. Of these countries, United States of America holds a significant place towards building a safer and secure planet.

Therefore, the United States of America has established diplomatic formal relations with majority of the countries throughout. Moreover, the United States of America has its embassies and foreign offices located in most of the countries.

The United States of America being one of the most developed countries and one of the strongest of economies enjoys a central position with almost every international matter (guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn). Moreover, with its armed forces and army troop interventions in certain conflicting regions of certain countries and its stature in global organizations like United Nations are other reasons of why the country holds a central position in the formation of world peace strategies. Moreover, diplomatic relations of United States with other countries also shape various factors of global relationships. Therefore, the foreign policies of United States of America hold a significant place in shaping the diplomatic environment of the entire planet (Hearing, pp. 4).

United States of America with European Countries

United States of America have over the years matures its relationship countries with many of the European countries. Of these relationships however, the most evolved are the relationships with the United Kingdom. Developing what is commonly known as “Special Relationship” since after World War 2, the two countries now currently share almost the same views and opinions regarding most of the conflicting regions like Iran, Iraq etc. This is also one of the chief reasons why USA and UK are allies to each other in all the conflict war and anti-terrorism situations. Moreover, the diplomatic relationship is further strengthening by joint ventures in commerce, technology, arts, science, finance, academics and trade. Armies of USA and UK have also carried out joint peacekeeping missions. Moreover, the two countries also remain the sources of biggest foreign investments in each other's economy.

Except for an undeclared war in the years 1798 and 1799, France and the United States of America are also known to have peaceful bilateral relationships. Events including boycott of France against American invasion in Iraq in 2003 followed by boycott of French goods in United States gave a little pause to the diplomatic relations.
