However, the youth tourism is gaining significant importance all over the world since more and more young people are observed to be travelling not only frequently but they are even covering longer distances. It can also be seen that student and youth travel is increasingly being familiar as a significant part of the global travel market.

The young and independent travellers are inclined to travel for longer periods and more frequently compared to the number of old travellers. This has offered the incentive for the creation of specialist professional student and youth travel companies around the globe.
