Introduction
Elohim is among one of the three names of Divine that refers to the Creator. In Bible, the creation account is considered to be the most enigmatic and the complex passage. It is started a t the beginning but at the end it does not really end. There are fundamentally three stages on which the creation is dependent. The first stage is started from Genesis 1:1 to 2:4. In the duration of this period, God was known by the name of Elohim. YHWH Elohim was the name given to God during the second stage (Mettinger, 2005). Around the Noah cycle, the third stage started and flowed over into the Abraham cycle and further crossed the remaining Bible. The first to believe on God was Abraham (Stone, 2010). He is not only considered as the first creation but he is also considered as the first of a new continuum of new creations. While this stage, God is named as Word of God or Dabar YHWH (Richard, Soulen, and Soulen, 2001).
