The Review

It is an action comedy which took place at an apartment of a young gentleman who lived in London. The young man who named Jack Algernon Moncrief was from an aristocratic family. The book starts when Algernon was bored, and was waiting for a cup of tea with his aunt and daughter. Suddenly his privacy gets interrupted with his old friend and his enemy (Icon Reference, pp. 23-96). Jack's younger brother was Earnest, who lived in Albany and gets into dreadful scrapes. As Algernon has already faced the same problem, he referred Mr. Banbury to visit him in the countryside, as he was the most patient person.

The importance of being veritable Jack Worthing was from an aristocratic family, who was boldly native. He lived at the countryside with Cecily, who was eighteen years old girl (Wilde, pp. 42-65). She followed the latter's governess and protection of Miss Prism. Jack decides to visit salons as Ernest was coming to visit Algernon Moncrieff. The reason for Earnest visiting Algernon was to meet his cousin, and to marry his cousin. The marriage proposal immediately accepted by his cousin, because she always dreamed of getting his last name as Earnest. Algernon got to know that his friend got late, and a guy claim to be Jack's younger brother, entered their place. He tried to seduce Cecily. His mother was not in favor of the marriage, still Jack opt for this marriage. The reason for being against this marriage was that Jack was an orphan, and it would not give him a family thing even if he would have gotten married. Another reason was the adoption by the family of benestante. After spying on the boyfriends of Cecily and Gwendolen, it found out that they lied about their identities. This was suspicious because they knew about the lie; still their relationship was normal with them (Barnet, pp. 101-123). The story revolves around Cecily and the marriage, when it appears to the governess of Cecily, who was Miss Prism. Jack was the guy whose real name was Ernest. His originality was doubted, and Cecily eventually became the wife of Algernon.
