The Baroque art

The art originated in Italy in the period of renaissance, contemplated the most extensive picture of the European art including sculptures, paintings and antiques. The art genre prevailed in the European continent in till 1750 and is amongst the most renowned art styles of human history timeline (Regal, 2010) (Giorgi, 2008).

Anthony Van Dyck

The ingenious artist was born in the year 1599 in Europe. In the very early period of his painting, he became well known for the genre of portrait painting. His subjects and work areas comprise of portrait painting, theological and religious art, as well as, he also served as a draftsman and an etcher. He had innate tendency towards painting art he was inducted as a painter when he was merely ten. His work principally focused gentle sentiments rather than forceful oppressive paintings; his work is an exclusive reaction 'The age of faith'. He was socially ambitious; in merely 42 years of his life he left a collection of over 500 portraits which are matchless in the entire art history of Europe. He was Inclined to outrageousness and luxury. He had a real painting genius inside him so that at the age of fifteen he became a renowned artist with his personally owned painting studio. He culminated amazing paintbrush work. He travelled to England, but returned back to Italy perused his masters and became a renowned Portraitist. His outstanding work pieces include 'Charles I at the hunt' placed in the Louvre museum. He passed away in England as the benchmark portrait artist for entire Baroque movement. At the mere beginning, of his age, He has an inclination towards portrait art (Giorgi, 2008) (Giorgi, 2008).

Bernini was born in Italy and spent his life in the city of Rome. Besides the art of painting, he also delivered master pieces in the field of playwright, stage sets and dramatics. As an artist, he had an inborn ability to lock and capture the moments of realism and culminate them in his artwork. He utilized light in his art to accommodate his religious and theological perspectives in his work pieces, reflecting the art of middle ages. He holds the founding position in the baroque era. His architectural monuments across Rome and Vatican are the master pieces of all times. He worked in the genres of sculpture, architecture and painting. At the time of Bernini Italy was throbbing with tremendous growth in art and literature, he played the fundamental role in the art of pre-eminent baroque architecture. When Bernini was aged eight, he went to the city of Rome with his father who worked in several projects on architectural designing. Bernini as an inexperienced kid, acquired the skill and begun his work with Annibale Carracci (Giorgi, 2008).
