Kinds of Eating Disorder
According to the researches there are three broad catagories of eating disorders.
- Anorexia: In which you lose weight, but do not eat enough because you think that you are overweight.
- Bulimia, where periods of binge eating followed by periods of cleansing the body and refusal of food, sometimes with the help of artificially induced vomiting or laxatives - Gluttony, when nutrition was completely out of control
Anorexia
People with anorexia possess a skewed sense of body image which forces them of the opinion that they are overweight even on the contrary when they're malnourished to the point of being fatal. They very commonly refuse to eat while at the same time, exercise compulsively, and develop odd routines of food consumption for instance not eating in front of their peers or people; they lose a lot of weight and might also die of starvation. When looking at a research it was concluded that many people with anorexia are 10 times more susceptible to death because of diseases as compared to those individuals who are without this problem. One of the most frequent cause which leads to their demise, is the cardiac arrest, and an imbalance of electrolytes and fluids in the body. There is also a serious risk of suicide. In a fairly large number of people with anorexia are also present mental and psychological diseases such as depression, obsessive behavior, substance abuse, anxiety, neurological and cardiovascular disorders as well as physical impairment.
