Introduction

The term technology is referred as the usage, modification, making and knowledge of techniques, machines, tools, systems, crafts and methods of organization, to solve an issue, improve and enhance a preexisting solution to an issue, attain a goal or perform any particular operation. Technology can also be referred as the set of such techniques and tools including modifications, machinery, procedures and arrangements. The innovation in the field of technology has brought several changes in the environment as well as in the life of human being (Betz, 2011).

Since nineteenth century, in United States, the technological innovation had brought several changes. Those technological innovations greatly benefited the people but simultaneously, also brought several threats for the people. The people of United States were uncertain about the altering affects of those technology innovations (Nye, 2004). That was because of the reason that several technologies were seriously affecting the human beings as well as well as the environmental conditions. Atomic weaponry and factory systems were the most significant technology innovation in 19th century. Both of these systems greatly affected the environment as well as the human behaviors (Nye, 2004).

In the proceeding paper it is discussed that, since 19th century, how the technology innovations affected the living styles of people. It is also discussed in the paper that how those technologies benefited the people and how they brought negative impacts on their lives.

Since 19th century various technological innovations have brought several changes in the lives of people.
