Introduction

This essay covers in detail the review of fourteen websites, which are relevant to the purpose of providing extensive support to various stakeholders concerning special education. This paper will firstly review each of these websites, discuss their relevance to the information gathered, concerning the context of the subject and lastly, analyze how the information, which has been gathered and discussed, would help increase the personal potential and knowledge of an aspiring special education instructor in the future.

The first website reviewed is Idea Partnership

The term IDEA stands for Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. This partnership strives to engage several partner organizations that include service providers, disabilities rights advocates, social organizations, policy makers and local administrators.

This partnership helps investing the best of its all stakeholder's expertise. This is because the organization believes that the individuals and groups who work in close alliance with the organization have valuable insight and knowledge, which could further be channelized to meet any form of challenges.

Moreover, working with different individuals and groups many prospective viewpoints arise, which further helps in identifying different challenges and how best to combat these as well as also helping in the identification of new and future possibilities.

The IDEA Partnership works in the facilitation of many family and professional organizations that devote their center of work towards the realization of common goals.

It encourages individuals and groups to come together and work in synergy towards the causes and goals they feel most passionate to bring about a change in them.

This organization achieves the above through adopting two main approaches, the first being bringing together of all stakeholders on a common platform. The second approach being that of sharing the lessons and insights gathered from the work with the various groups and individuals with various organizations.

The main mission of IDEA partnership is its dedication to improving the results or effectiveness of those young individuals with disabilities through joining the efforts of the local state and government agencies with the stakeholders by giving them a united platform for learning and executing work ideas.

Relating the knowledge gathered from above to subject knowledge; fore mostly it cannot be stressed enough about the special needs and problems of those students or young individual who have one or other form of disability. Having such disabilities have an impact on their academic learning and interaction with other peers, teachers and parents. Moreover, if such learning disabilities are not addressed at an earlier stage in life then it would severely affect their interaction and confidence levels when they become adults. Some of the characteristics that are associated with children or students with special needs are that academically their achievements are poor compared with the average student performance in the class.
