Introduction

Living a sound, healthy and trouble free life is every person's dream, but this dream seldom materializes for a person. We have always heard our elders reiterating that the key to a healthy life, apart from proper food intake is having a substantial, healthy and proper sleep. However, there are a few individuals who are deprived of this invaluable blessing of relishing the comfort that night bestows on people, as they suffer from some specific disorder, known as sleep disorder.

Sleep Disorders

By merely reading the title, a naïve mind will be in a position to assimilate that sleeping disorder is a kind of disturbance of normal functioning that deprives an individual to savour the taste of peaceful and undisturbed sleep. It is believed that sleeping disorder takes place, when an individual experiences short-lived arousal from the NERM sleeps, which occurs when a person fails to soundly pass through the stages of sleep. Numerous researches have articulated that the sleep talking disorder arises as a result of other disorders, such as sleep related eating disorders, rapid eye movement, night terror and even sleep walking (Thompson, 2004).

Sleep Walking

The behaviour of sleep walkers are defined as the actions that are a resultant of slow wave sleep stage, that takes place in a low state of consciousness and renders such actions (by a person) that are typically executed in a full conscious state. the severity of these actions, which a person executes in a low conscious stage, can be as normal and casual as sitting, going to the bathroom, or as dangerous as opting to drive, cook, being violent, holding imaginary or perceived objects, and as much as homicide. However, it will not be inaccurate to state that most of the times the reported behaviours of sleep walking comprise of the benign ...
