Introduction

This paper is designed in order to deal with the few strategic level issues which are important for any organization. When talking about a non profitable organization , then such considerations are more important and demand efforts and focus. In the paper the Key performance indicators are found and the control measure is also jotted down to make a better understanding of the importance and delicacy of the matter.

Here the nonprofit organization is discussed and the considered organization is sight savers which are taking care of millions are of people who are facing this trouble and are not able to fight against it due to their incapacities. Theses incapacities are usually financial and the people being benefitted are mostly from the under developed countries and the Africans are the most effected group in these regards.

Key Strategic Issues Faced by Sight Savers

Usually key strategic issues of an organization take in account factors like the product they are going to sell. They also look for the buyers of the product , the level of competition in the market and the method to avoid the competition. At the time of talking about a non profitable organization , than the approach is a bit different. The organization strategic issues are then focused on increasing the level of the funds in order to handle all the people who are going to be benefitted through it and looking at the issues they are bearing and what portion of the people are in most desperate need of being helped. Following are some key strategic issues faced by the sight savers :

A very important issue being neglected on a very large scale is the NTDs (neglected tropical disease) which are 13 groups of poverty stricken people which are 1.4 billion in numbers and are suffering from parasitic and bacterial infections. They have a very less or almost no access to the education and they are not able to work and this makes a big population becoming less or not productive which is a very big problem to be faced. Water and sanitary systems in among these groups is an important concern too. The water being used is not clear and is an invitation to some serious diseases. Due this issue there are 320 ,000 ,000 million people seriously are on the risk of blinding trachoma and out of them 110 ,000 ,000 are in immediate need for the treatments (www.dochas.ie).

Another important issue is that due to incapacity of an individual the entire household is affected. In totality the people who are impaired with visual disability are 285.3mil in the globe and out of these 39.8 are blind. In Africa the access to the health centre for such people is 30% , but this percentage is below 10% ...
