The fact sheet deals with the significant knowledge about the viral infection in men. This sheet contains the causes, route of transfer, sign and symptoms of the disease caused by Genital Human Papillomavirus. Furthermore, it provides information regarding diagnosis, treatment and preventive measures. Even though, I am interested in exploring the current techniques related to treatment and diagnosis. Centre for disease control and prevention (CDC) issued this fact sheet in the year of 2012. The purpose is to make the public aware of the disease condition (CDC, 2012). This fact sheet is a good illustration of the key points related to any prevailing or congenital disease.
Discussion
This sheet contains all the prime knowledge of the disease. The paper states that there is no any diagnostic test developed for men, but many researchers have suggested the new and economical ways. These proposed diagnostic tests are easy and convenient. Prusty & Kumar et al proposed the non-invasive method of HPV diagnostic test. The method involves the collection of urine long with its dry sample. Dry sample facilitates the storage, transport and direct detection concerning the DNA of HPV. Furthermore, these methods are useful in case of infants, children and others whose sample could not be obtained following the invasive methods (Prusty & Kumar et al, 2005).
Another study conducted by Golijow and Perez et al in the population of Argentina. The investigators also support the non-invasive method of the urine collection for the diagnosis of the HPV DNA. The investigators considered this method as the easiest one (Golijow and Perez et al, 2005). Flores, Abalos et al conducted the study related to the sample collection reliability. They moreover focused on the detection of HPV ...
